A friend of mine that I have known for a little over 11/2 and who I was introduced to through a friend and whom I speak with only through aol instant messanger because she lives in a different state, and (who likes to have fun in simplest ways,) just, well one day as I was chatting with her through i/m-(we hardly do, because she's busy with her military education) onced just balantly after say we greeted asked if I had a crush on her, and I thought it was a joke-her being free spirited and all, but I guess it wasn't and I was floored, and then I was pissed. I asked her why she would say something like that, and she said it was because of some class she's taking-bio, where she learned the decripstions/actions of such, and I fitted them . She never apologized, and I know she knew I was upset, I never again mentioned it to her, and just forgave. But, ever since that incident, I don't view her the same-She knew I was into boys, and I've never made a pass-or would.

**I do not have a problem with gays-AT ALL. But, she is in the military, and I aspire to be-or I'm right now, and this is something that you don't ask; don't tell. DADT policy, the fact that she's in the mil. it just made it kind of shocking-she knows better than to ask this type of question-being under a code of conduct.

She may be confused about her sexuality, but as long as you are confident in yours, this shouldn't be an issue. If you enjoy talking to her, continue as if it never happened. It sounds like she was just inquiring in a rather indirect way. I wouldn't let it bother me too much.

First thing you have to ask yourself is...was she making all that up to see if you liked her because she really "likes" you? Another reason, sorry to be the first to mention this to you, but there are some extreme know-it-alls in this world. They think just because they are in military that they are gods. Well, its not true. Just say this to her and she will know especially since you say she is in military education. She needs to follow the "Don't ask , Don't tell policy" before she gets shipped to the brigg for going to far one of these days.

I used to get pissed when girls would hit on me and I would say I thought you guys knew your own and finally this girl told me that's just something we say to place doubt in your head I was just hoping you were gay, bi or willing to try after that it doesn't get to me anymore I just say strictly d....ly and move on to the next conversation, so if you forgave her fine more on maybe she's embarrassed to bring it up again too.

You know what you like so why get your undies in a bunch!!!!!

Over and done with. She didn't know and inquired and now she knows. Life goes on and each of you are now more grounded in your personal expectations of each other.
Now just enjoy each others company with no hang-ups.
