A friend of mine that I have known for a little over 11/2 and who I was introduced to through a friend and whom I speak with only through aol instant messanger because she lives in a different state, and (who likes to have fun in simplest ways,) just, well one day as I was chatting with her through i/m-(we hardly do, because she's busy with her military education) onced just balantly after say we greeted asked if I had a crush on her, and I thought it was a joke-her being free spirited and all, but I guess it wasn't and I was floored, and then I was pissed. I asked her why she would say something like that, and she said it was because of some class she's taking-bio, where she learned the decripstions/actions of such, and I fitted them . She never apologized, and I know she knew I was upset, I never again mentioned it to her, and just forgave. But, ever since that incident, I don't view her the same-She knew I was into boys, and I've never made a pass-or would.

**I do not have a problem with gays-AT ALL. But, she is in the military, and I aspire to be-or I'm right now, and this is something that you don't ask; don't tell. DADT policy, the fact that she's in the mil. it just made it kind of shocking-she knows better than to ask this type of question-being under a code of conduct.
