It's always good to think deep about the paper before you write it. That's all you're doing. It has nothing to do with a lack of motivation.

Because your exhausted!

Take a 15 minute break, go for a jog, pump up the music loud, or just walk around for a bit and look around at all those other people.

Then when you are motivated write down "why?". You must have chosen this subject because it interests you. Its just lost somewhere.
The trick is doing things at the right time.
Do it because in the future there will be no reason to do it.
Do it because ..well it makes time passes quicker.

half **** studying for 3 hours is okay, but cramming studying for half an hour or an hour is better. Thats because your focused.

.. i wonder why you have an exam in the evening.

After the exam reward yourself.
Good luck prepareing for it!

and finally .. don't think about it just do it! ^^ best way to get over it. You'll be suprised at how fast you finish when you don't wander to the fridge every 5 minutes.

your question should have been, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could get motivated to complete my exam paper...lol...maybe you're tired, maybe you are out of fresh ideas, there are so many things that could hinder motivation. But, we know nothing about you....so.....make a plan....write out a goal for yourself (not too big...unless of course the exam paper MUST be done today) start by getting up, going for a jog/long walk outside to give yourself some more energy....set up rewards for yourself on a timeframe....when you get home, write for a while, then reward yourself with a snack or a 30min tv show, then get back to it....continue like this until you're done. good luck.

You have what 1 week left of sick. You are sick of school, papers, professors, getting up early, other students, driving the same path every day and back..research, homework...I usually get to this point about 6 weeks into it and I have to be beaten with a stick and tied to the chair to get it done (not really but you get my point)..you are tired of it all and just don't care but just know that IT'S ALMOST OVER. Write a sentence and say that and another and say that..before you know it, it's done..or cry and rip up the page and say oh well...

Statistics show that a large percentage of accidents take place when travellers are almost home - not by design though. You are almost done with your term. Do you want to fail at this final stage of the term? Come on, spring to the fininsh line!

Aliens along with other distractions have decided to band together to distract you and lure you away from the holy path of accomplishment.

If you're like me, the topic doesn't really interest you and there are always more enjoyable things to do. Unfortunately, it has to be done.
