I have to replace my avon astonishing lengths mascara every 4 weeks, as it seems to dry up. I do use mascara everyday, however shouldn't it last about 2 months at least? anyone else got the same problem?

I have the same problem...with all mascaras...therefore, I've decided to stop wasting my money and buy cheap drugstore mascaras since I really like Mayeblline XXL mascara I just use that (like 5 dollars:) and I just wear it everyday to make the most of it...so, only spend money on bronzers, foundation, and eyeshadows :)

I don't use Avon mascara, but have you tried Maybelline's Full n Soft? That stuff is amazing and lasts me for 4 months, and it's still juicy! It's only $4 at Walmart and makes my lashes look long and full and people think I have fake lashes on when my lashes are just average! I found this mascara to be higher in quality than any high-end mascara I've used too.

Any mascara should have a shelf life of approximately 2-3 mos.
If you find that the product is drying out, there maybe the possiblity that you are "pumping" the wand. WHen you go to apply, instead of "pumping" rim the inside of the tube with the wand instead.
Also have you tried the superFULL mascara? It is awesome, I love the astonishing lengths but I am in love with superFULL.

I find it to be a poor product and stopped using all Avon mascara for the poor quality. All mascara should be replaced every six months.

unless your not closing the top good,it should last longer,mascara is good for at least 3 months.the loreal is great.
