DoD seems fun but if its just another Medal of Honor game I really don't want to buy it.

I like it a lot. It's really progressed since the beta days. Hopefully they'll bring back more old maps. I'd look at some game play movies like here: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/dayofdefeatsource/media.html
If you're really on the fence about it, I'd wait until for another DoD free weekend to come around. Sometimes Valve opens up certain games up for free multiplayer play by anyone for a weekend. There might not be another DoD one until the next major update though.
And btw, DoD has been around far longer than Medal of Honor.

I have been playing dod since beta one. Dod is similiar to Call of duty. But in my opionon its better in multiplayer.
DOd doesn't have a single player. COD single is very good though.

It's okay, I got it for free when I purchased half life.
I don't think it's worth paying for though.
