yeah and it means if wishing could make things happen, then even the most destitute people would have everything they wanted.

I guess that statement could be true. Yes Mother Goose has some really unusual rhymes.

That's kinda cool. My personal favorite: "If wishes were omlettes, we'd all be filled with egg, cheese, and small pieces of ham."
