Legos! I am 30 and still ask for them for Christmas! Also, Animaniacs, SeaQuest DSV, and beads. Lots and lots of beads. And actually, they aren't really secret obsessions, I tend to geek out proudly- often in public :) I once got super excited about Legos in Target once, and the team member looked at me like I was a total freak. Oh well... he's missing out.

I still have my old Transformers from when I was a kid, though I don't play with them (hopefully my kid caneventually make good use of them). I have an interest in abstract algera and I also invent various board and card games and have had a fascination with balancing game rules for competitiveness which is probably up there on the geekiness scale.

I had a geek out spasm the other day- I purchased a video game called LEGO STAR WARS II.

I felt guilty buying it with a name like that. Sad thing is, you know it's marketed to the 30 somethings like me.

ah, sadly, i am SUCH a geek- my healthy fascinations are with:
disney
snow globes (disney ones, but also of places i've traveled)
star wars (really, how many dvd copies does one family need?)
purple stuff (my vacuum cleaner, for example)
lunchpails
my boyfriend says it's his ace of base collection.
