I got the part as Sophie in the school play Annie and I dont know who she is!!!! Who is she is the movie, what is she like, what is her relation to Annie, ect. Please tell me someone!!!! Thnx!

All I could find was this link, it says that Sophie was a character in Hooverville, which wasn't shown in the movie as much as it is in the play. If the play is the same now as it was when I was in it, the whole Hooverville scene should start with the line "Apples, apples, two for a nickel!" Hope this helps.

Carol Burnett played Sophie in Annie.
She was posing as Annie mother to get the monies.
