I answered in your other question too - yes, this is a great bike for you! :)
Have fun!! :)
*edit...it's not that powerful of a bike, trust me. It's a four-stroke. If you were talking about a two-stroke 125, yeah, that's a bit more powerful.

The TTR125 is a great beginner to intermediate bike for a shorter rider. They have a bit more power than the Honda XR100, but aren't as heavy as the Honda CRF150F. Perfect starting model for your size and weight.
But I absolutely argree with others here who say make sure you go and actually sit on the bike before you buy. You need to be able to touch flat-footed on both sides. You also need to be able to pick up the bike when it falls over.
If you can't do these two things with the TTR, then check out the Honda CRF100 or the Yamaha TTR90.
Also, for a first time rider, buy a used bike if you can. The majority of all the crashing you will do over the next 20 years are going to happen in the first 6 months of riding! Do it on a used bike that's not all shiny new :)
Have fun, you're going to love it!

You are young and undoubtedly growing still but the best way to determine what dirt bike is best is to sit on it, if both feet can touch the floor Flat footed then it is safe to say you will be able to control it which is what you want. think safety and control.

That is a cool bike. My son is 11 and has one very similar to it. It is a four stroke , which means it wont kick when you give it gas.
