Each person & situation is unique, so therefore I think each person should make the decisions about his/her life based upon his/her experiences, faith, situation, & beliefs. What's right for me may not be right for someone else. So yes, I do agree people should have the fundamental right to end their own life or prolong it whichever the case may be. You choose for you & I choose for me. To each his own and Judge not.

People who think life is a misery will want to pursue this attempt. But you must be missing all the satisfaction that is already latent in you. And this beautiful package within you needs to be opened. Of course, you might not have opened it, or used the latent potential waiting for you to accept it.
If you are trying to find happiness out there in the world, then you will 100% be disappointed. Because the nature of happiness and all the goodies are such that they can only reside within the heart, within you.
So how do you get in touch with your good?
I was like you at one time, I wanted an earthquake to swallow me because things were ugly. But now they ain't anymore. What changed is not the world but me. I changed my perspective, and the world changed. It is truly a miracle.
First things first. You need discipline in an enjoyable way.

Of course you have the right to control your life or death. It is a fundamental and absolute right. Anything else is intolerable slavery to the group. No group has the right to determine when life for an individual is no longer worth living.
Calling it murder is not an argument, it is attempting to change the nature of the question. It is the same dishonest argument that anti-abortion groups use by calling a fetus a baby.

If you believe that we are the stuff of which the universe is made and that everything is actually part of the whole and of one another, then no, a part of the whole does not have the right to terminate itself because such an action would reverberate throughout all of existence. A butterfly flapping its wings in Tahiti can, in theory, produce a tornado in Kansas.

No, presumably they thought they had such a right and it's too late for them since the right implies thier relationships with their familes, relations, children, friends, colleagues, etc at home, in their workplaces, in the community and,for some distinguished VIP's, in the world. In brief, it might be termed as a selfish, rash act out of individualistic ego and as far as I know form scholarly psychiatric articles, they comitted such an unthinkable act out of mysterious madness few people can understand.

You do not have the right to do that, most of the times, people wanna end their lives for they are going through a real tough period in their lives, so endure these periods and the sun will be out again!!

Fundamentally, yes. That that isn't the problem.
Suicide is like life insurance: it doesn't affect the person who dies, it affects the people WHO LIVE.

Yes, life is a choice, in a sense that it is OURS. I believe that people own their own lives and have a choice to live or die. But, before making that decision, do not only think of yourself, but of friends and family, and all those that shall be hurt.
I believe that life is a god-given choice.

I don't know anyone who chose to begin their own life. Why should they have the right to end their life?
Maybe survival of the fittest should run its course.

i have a problem with this "my life" thing. this is a life given to us by our Creator and we can't treat it as OUR OWN and start abusing it. those of us who can dare to say that they STARTED their own life, only they can END their own life. the rest should just go past through all the pains and joys of life normally.
