Yes, I am. My mom is pregnant with her ninth child. My great, great grandma had 18 kids, and I think my mom is trying to beat her. Did you know that they used to give away rewards, and cash prizes to people that had the most kids in a region, my great, great grandma won many rewards, but then someone had 24 kids, and she lost. My mom has 8 daughters and no sons, so we hope that it is a boy(well she does, but I don't because I won't have a little sister, not a brother who asks like a girl).

It is 25 degrees outside at this very moment in MISSISSIPPI. That is absolutely fantastic!!! The kids are outside with a bon fire blazing in the back field. They are sitting on the back of their trucks and on their four wheelers with the music blaring and having a ball. I built a fire in the fireplace for the first time in 10 months and am sitting in front of it typing on the computer and drinking hot buttered rum. Am I happy, no, I am ecstatic!!LOL. Saturday it was cool enough for me and the old man to put on our leathers and crank up the Harley and ride all afternoon. Sunday we went for a long walk in the woods and then came home, changed clothes and went to some friends house. They had barbecued a pig. There were a lot of friends there. We ate, sat around the fire, drank some beer, laughed a whole lot and just enjoyed the cold weather. Yep I am happy. Life is good, the weather is cool, my son and daughter in law are gainfully employed and happy and healthy.
As the song says if my future gets any brighter I'm gonna have to wear sunglasses. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

I'm really happy and it's not because my life is perfect. Its mostly because I'm grateful for having a healthy body, shelter & food. I help others during the day and always walk away from the experience a richer, better person. I wouldn't mak efun of your question. But, I would ask you to consider why you're in such a funk ? try to trace the feeling and see what it is you let get to you. I always keep in mind most hardships that come my way are tests and I refuse to ever let someon or something get the best of me. If all else fails a bag of Plain M&M's usually does the trick...that or a good sit com, laughter is the best medicine...or I dive into a good book. :)

I'm happy--especially since I've joined this website. There are an array of interesting questions and, can you believe it, I actually have my Christmas card list made out--nothing is addressed yet. I'm doing well with my Christmas agenda. Try some hot tea with milk / cream and sugar. That will make you feel better. Take a hot shower afterward and read, watch tv., or listen to music. All of that should make you feel better. Good luck!

Interesting question. I am fairly content and go from day to day feeling fairly level headed. Last week, I spent the day with my dad, brother, sister in law. We just helped my dad do some stuff and spent the whold day with him. It took me 5 hours to drive there and 5 hours to drive back, but it was probably the happiest I had been in 6 months. I did not even realize it till the next day. Very simple stuff can surprise you sometimes.

Yeah.

Things in life sometimes suck, but I make the decision if I want to be happy. I've given up 2 decent careers, have had my income go down considerably, but am pursuing my education to pursue a professional career in what I love to do. I attempt to be absolutely authentic and sincere with myself and my pursuits. I take control of myself (freeing myself of the control from the external). I'm still working the way to be as God would want me to be (if you do not want to here about theological roots of happiness, you can focus on the way of living), but I am a happy person. :) Remember. You do have rule of yourself. Focus on negativity, in negativity you will be. Focus on the positive things in life (though many attempt to remove the reality of this from day to day life calling it naive or idealistic, it does exist) and the positive you will be. Keep your head up, otherwise you'll drown. Stay safe.

Life is a series of "ups" and "downs". One minute we may be On Top Of The World, but the next minute could bring tragedy or sadness to our life. Life is very uncertain. Jesus said "in this world you will have many troubles, but don't fear because I have overcome the world". So when troubles come my way, and I have had many, I make every effort to focus my attention on the Lord and not the trouble. He has always seen me through. That's how it has worked for me. Focus on Him, and He will take care of you. You may not be "on top of the world" but you will be content and satisfied.

Yes a wonderful day just sat around on my computer and it didn't give me any problems. No violation notices, all in all great day.
( But then it doesn't take much to keep me happy)

Yes...people are really happy. Of course, you have to have one of those really bad days....or feel the walls closing in before you realize the difference between the good and bad day. Keep your chin up, young person....
