I mean, I see the Yahoo Answers, and some people don't have a life answering all these questions. I mean it is really useful and resourceful at times, but don't they at least have a hobby? Some people write 1000 blogs a day, 1000 reviews a day, I mean what's the fun in this? Do they get any recognition?

It appears you spend an awful lot of time on line reading what others have written. I go to work and I shop and I clean house and I read I do lots of things and then I like to go on line and run around on the internet and sometimes come here and answer questions. I do lots of things so why does that make me have no life. You want me rob banks too? Maybe some people aren't like you, the kind that wants everyone to clap because he had a brilliant idea, maybe they are of lonely and enjoy interaction with others the way the internet give us. Maybe you rejected us and the people in cyberworld didn't reject us. Get your drawers out of a bunch and quit worry about how others spend their time. It not your time.

Everyone alive has a life and is free within the law to do as they please.
I thank God that there are STILL people in the world that do things e.g. genuinely answer questions for people seeking knowledge; and do it for the satisfaction of being able to impart that knowledge.
I hope my answer sheds some light.
Stick around. It seems to already be doing you some good.
You’ve already asked a question.

I actually have a very busy life outside of YA. I think this website is great for giving information, bouncing around ideas and opinions, etc. If you don't like it, don't look down on those that do.

Right now I'm working at home on the computer so I've been doing this all day while I work. I'm sure I'll get tired of it soon enough. For now it's fun.

For many it's like an English Comp. class, you get your spelling, and grammar checked out very often, and not in a gentle way.
You're insulted so often, it makes you a little more humble.
But I think it does no harm to practice expressing yourself.

You are very narrow in your definition of hobby.

Live isnt all about recognition, for some its about knowledge and helping others occasionally.

And how much time did you spend on posting your question? So I guess that means that you have no life.

You sound very judgmental. If others are doing their thing and it's within the guidelines and rules I suggest you stop tripping on it.

"To each his own" We each have our own likes and dislikes. It is a good thing that we are not all made the same. You have your preferences and they have theirs. Just be happy that you are not like them. LOL
