I am 35 weeks pregnant and know i am having a boy. He is and has always sat low. My sister who had a girl sat a lot higher right til the birth

I carried high with my baby girl, until the last month and a half when she dropped lower toward my pelvis. It is really a wives' tale, though, you can't really tell what you're having by how you're carrying. You'd need an ultrasound for that one!

I carried two of my boys high and one of my boys I carried low. I don't think the girl or boy thing matters.

You mean do baby girls carry lower or higher?
The old wives' tale states that girls are carried higher and boys are lower, but again..that is a TOTAL myth.
My OB told me that the reason why I am lower is because this is my second pregnancy and my muscles have already been stretched out...therefore, I am going to show quicker and carry lower.

my best friend and I were pregnant at the same time, she was carrying high, I was carrying low, so we were convinced she was having the girl and I was having the boy.....nope, i had the girl she had the boy. so who really knows.

If you're asking how a woman carries a baby--high or low-- I think that's just a "wives tale" but I cannot remmeber which is which.

i don't think that has anything to do with anything. i think it's your body shape. i have 2 girls, and the first was low, but the second was high.
