The MCA says non-citizens, as well as citizens, can be held indefinitely. This is an UN-AMERICAN law which will be overturned if appealed. No doubt about it.

Not to mention, anyone can be held indefinitely without any warrant or presentable reasons for the arrest. And lo and behold republicans just don't give a damn...

I'm not a Republican, but even I don't get how you are turning this one into solely a Republican issue. There were Dems who supported this when it came to a vote ... and the Dems now have the power to enact a change.
So my question to you :
What are the Dems going to do about it now ?

You're right. Those radical leftist Republicans have no right to suspend habeus corpus. The Maryland legislature should be allowed to vote on secession, and we have no right to stop the Confederates from going their own way. Impeach Lincoln!
