Get over yourself. Not everyone has to say 'hi' to you. Some people from other countries just like to keep to themselves.

I've never had that happend with an Indian, but have had it happen with other people.

When I was little everyone waved and said 'hi.'

Nowadays a lot of people just aren't comfortable with being nice, because being nice might get them into trouble. A person can think you are coming onto them, or get someone close enough to mug and rob you.

And a simple answer is, the Indian could have had a lot on his mind or having a difficult day.

I don't think this can be pinned down to one culture. I have seen all Nationalities be the way you describe.

The saying that comes to mind is "Walk a mile in my shoes."
Noone knows what someone else has been through and why they are that way. We can only hope they come back to enjoying people and finding out a simple 'hi' is a good thing.

Well, there is no custom in the way he is doing that it is only because he doesn't want to say hello. As for asian people who say hi to strangers it has nothing to do with there ethincy only thier personality

I don't think it has to do with the persons race. I am partial Cherokee and I always smile at everyone that I walk past. It's just certain people are not as courteous as others is all.

Culture.....when you say indian do you mean american indian or a person from india. Some cultures stay to themselves because they live in dangerous places. Some women in some cultures are not allowed to speak in public unless spoken to.

I have noticed the same thing. Not being racis but asian people are seemingly more friendly and they say hi to you more.
You could say hi first if you want a respose. If they dont say hi the they are a jackass,.

Everyone is entitled to do whateverthey choose so long as it doesnt harm anyone else.

Feel blessed that someone stopped and said hello. not everyone is comfortable doing it.

If it means so much to you why dont you start saying hi to everyone, or even better giving them huggs
