There is an answer!! its a math riddle:

Twice eight are ten of us, yet ten is just three.
Seven of us are five.
Can you now see?
If this is not enough, I will tell you a bit more,
Nineteen of us are eight, and nine is just four.

e-i-g-h-t = 5 * 2 = 10
t-e-n = 3
s-e-v-e-n = 5
so on

that is so cool, the numbers on the right of each phrase describe how many letters are in the number on the left of the phrase.

'Twice Eight'
The phrase has 10 letters.

"yet ten is just three"
'Ten' has just three letters
So on and so forth.

NUMBER OF LETTERS IN "EIGHT" IS 5, SO TWICE 5 IS 10. TEN HAS 3 LETTERS, SEVEN HAS FIVE LETTERS, ETC.

That is pretty clever- I will try it in my class. (It has something to do with the number of letters in the spelling of the numbers.)
