ipod is always good. i have an iriver which is kind of a rip-off ipod but it has lots of good features. i can put text, pictures, and music on it. and it also has a radio. mine is a five gig and hold like 2000 songs but they go up alot so you can get a higher gig. but yea. theyre expensive but theyre good.

Well, depending on how many songs you would like it to hold and any other features, I would say a Creative Zen Nano Plus 1 GB for around 70 dollars at Walmart.

Depends what your looking for. Ipods are nice, but if your looking to not spend alot of money I got a sweet Sandisk 1gb player for $45 off of Ebay. Does the same thing as an ipod except it uses real batteries instead of charging from the computer.

A 8gig Sandisk Sansa works great and costs the same as an I-pod nano with half the memory!

i have a creative zen micro and am in absolute love with it. i would difinitely reccamend it. it holds 3500 song, has radio, very small and easy for traveling, pretty good battery life, not too expensive, you can record off the radio. look into this one!

I haven't had experience with others except iPod, iPod is good enough actually, except I hate having iTunes on my computer.

I just got an iPod Shuffle and I love it! it's the new kind that you can clip on your shirt.. it's tiny, but it plays music quite loudly, and it holds hundreds of songs.. it's da bomb! :p

get an Ipod 2 GB. there good. get a green one too. those are hot.
