I'm from an Italian family & we always celebrate Christmas Eve with a big fish feast: Seafood salad (calamari, octopus, scallops, shrimp, eel), fried shrimp, linguine with white clam sauce & a stuffed bass. Christmas Day we have lasagna & chicken.
(For me, turkey is for Thanksgiving & ham is never even the predominant part of a sandwich).

I'm not a fan of turkey so i'd pick Ham, but my family usually makes a big turkey for Christmas each year
