I take it that you mean formula wts or molecular wts. So write 5.1g TiO2 at the left. Write a = sign at the right, and leave room between that and the right edge of the paper. At the right edge of the paper, write fw TiO2. You have to manipulate the units of conversion factors so that the dimensions of grams at the left become formula wts at the right. At. wts.: Ti = 48 O = 16 TiO2 = 80

5.1g TiO2 x 1 FW TiO2/80g TiO2 =5.1/80

The gTiO2 cancel the FW TiO2
