What do you do if someone told you something about one of your friends and you totally don't believe it's true? Do you tell your friend about the rumor or do you just forget about it and think it isn't true.
The rumor is that this friend had sex with someone that wasn't her husband and she is a good person so I don't think she would do that. What do you think?

Don't believe it. If you are really close to her, only you know if you should tell her. I hope you told the person that told you that you did not believe them, and that you did not appreciate them spreading rumors.

I would tell my friend that you heard this awful rumor and since you know her it couldn't be true but that you wanted her to know about it. Never reveal the source though ... (but ask yourself ... is this source reliable or is she really jealous?? and if this person is a good friend she'd of told you about it ...)

Tell your friend. It is about her and she needs to know. Also, ask where the person who told you got the information from.
