If he does decide to run for president, I think I would probably vote for him. Judging from what I've read about him, he's one of the few political figures who seems sincere.

A great guy, and the next President.

He is smart, knowledgable, and a good speaker.

He's inexperienced and needs a few more years in the Senate to learn the ins and outs of Washington. He has yet to serve on a committee of any importance or to introduce any significant legislation. His best bet would be to run for Vice President with the Democratic nominee (probably won't be Hillary or Kerry) and gain 8 years of experience, then he could run for President. That would give us 16 years of Democrats as President - 16 years of peace and prosperity.

Senator Barack Obama is getting so much media attention, he improves his chances everyday of running for President. He's become a household name just like Sen. Hillary Clinton. The problem with Obama, however, is has very little experience. He's only been the US Senator of Illinois for two years. Then again, Prez George Bush only was Texas Governor for only five years before he became elected. Prior to that he never ran for elected office. Also Hillary Clinton only has been a US Senator for six years. It seems as if those who run run because they have name recognition. Have we become so superficial as a society that we vote for those who we recognize rather than those with substance who believe what we believe. It seems as if as consumers we pick the familiar brand and put it in our shopping cart.

Well, he seems like a good guy, however looking over his voting record he seems a bit liberal for my taste. He also looks like he is in favor of free trade which I am firmly against. There are other policies of his I am not really in favor of so he will not be getting my vote.

Personality only gets someone so far, it is how he stand on the issues that will show what policies he will dictate and what direction he will try to lead this country in. He looks like a good guy, but my views are different than his.

Obama, is a sincere and smart guy!
Everytime I write him about an issue, he is more than willing to explain where he stands on it, and why.
Matter of fact, he and Durbin invite their constituents to come to a meetings they hold in washington so their constituents can share their opinions with them.

both are two of the greatest congressmen i have seen. but i agree Obama isn't ready to be president ...not yet.

I tuned in late when he was on David Letterman and had no idea who this person was but I was captivated by his persona. I would like to hear more from him. As far as President, I think that office has lost its power and influence. The current holder of that office is a joke and not the leader of this country.

I'd vote for him. I heard him on an NPR comedy program, "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me". He was really funny.
To me, a good sense of humor says you've got brains.

What experience did Bushhole have? NONE!
