It sounds like you are. You need to ask yourself why you're buying it before you do it. Is it to cheer you up, do you feel like you need to have the latest fashions tobe accepted, etc....find out WHY you're doing it and that may answer your question.

I would say you have a problem. If you have no money and are putting stuff that you don't really need but just want on credit and running up your monthly bills (probably just paying the minimum, I'm guessing?), then you should probably consider counseling. You may be using shopping to fill a need.

Yes. The difference between really liking something and an addiction is that addictions interfere with your normal life. It sounds like this interferes mostly with your finances and also affects the people around you who are telling you you have a problem.
And the fact that your asking complete strangers to tell you its okay just confirms it.
If you can't stop on your own, ask for help. Or freeze your credit cards like they did on that commercial.

Yes. You should listen to everyone whose telling you this. When someone is in debt and still shops everyday, thats a clear problem. You should deal with it before it gets worse. Try counselling.
Good luck!

You have a serious psychological addiction.
See a counsellor - therapist.
Cut up all your credit cards. Go to the bank, and have your credit rating dropped. If they refuse, threaten them with a lawyer.
With a therapist, you will gradually come to see why you behave as you do, and be able to change your thought pattern.
If you don't do this you will soon find yourself in very serious trouble.

compulsive shopping and spending is an addictive behavior...going into debt because of it is a major red flag and definite cause for concern:
