First, to clear this up, not actively trying to harm myself ... so that's not the issue. I guess, in thinking about past things i've tried, i'm simply trying to figure out is there an actual best way to leave a note ... For those that answer, if possible, can you describe why the choice is the preferable way, thanks.

A suicide note must note must be left or the death of the individual will just have people shrugging their shoulders. Being somewhat of a romantic, I personally think that a beautifully hand written note has the most style and will probably be tucked away and will surely bring tears to future generations. Audio or DVD is tacky, and unless the person has a great presence of voice and some acting talent that person will probably come off looking like a jerk. Just my thoughts, be happy, but do not take yourself too seriously. …enjoy, life is great!

Whatever you do for a note, or not do for a note will cause serious harm to your family and friends. Therefor there is no best choice. Sorry.

Cant believe im answering this,but probably a form of video,to give the loved ones one last chance to see me and understand in some way why i did it,ofcourse i dont think i ever would.Kinda disturbing that youre asking,please dont do it,if your thinking of it,its the suckers way out.

i'd probably hand write one due to my emotional state. although, audio tape or dvd would better capture tone.
