Mary Kay's Ultimate mascara is great for making lashes look longer and the brush doesn't clump. All three MK Signature⢠mascara formulas feature the Smart Wiper⢠technology to deliver the exact amount of mascara your customers need for maximum plumping — without the clumping. They all are also smudge-resistant, flakeresistant, clump-resistant, ophthalmologist-tested and suitable for contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes.

Definicils. I believe it is by Lancome. My girlfriends and I swear by it.
The thing you really must remember tho is to always, always remove your eye makeup with a quality eye makeup remover. Otherwise, your lashes will break and you won't have any lashes to apply mascara on!
Use Black/brown if you're a blonde, Black/very black if you are a brunette or have black/dark hair.
The thing about mascara is, if you want big ol' lashes you have to use the non-waterproof kind, but then if you cry or it rains you're in big trouble... What I do is apply the non-water proof mascara first and seal it with a coat of waterproof mascara. See if that works for you...
Good Luck!
p.s. I've also seen some battery powered heated eyelash curlers sold at the 'As seen on TV' store for about 24 dollars, but I've never tried them...

another thing to try is.....ditch the mascara and go have your eyelashes permed and dyed at a spa. it works great and you won't have to mess with your lashes every day. you CAN wear mascara on top of it too for very WOW eyes!

expensive mascaras are expensive bc they're awesome. like estee lauder and lancome-- those are great. or if you're desperate, just buy a separate eyelash comb and comb it through your lashes after you've applied mascara
