No, I like the way I am. But if a popular kid sits in the same group you are. You can laugh to his/her jokes or talk about themselves making you popular since you became friends with that popular person. That's what happened to my classmate but it caused him to be in trouble sometimes.

i was new to my school in junior high and i wasnt really friends with people...
but than i started being friends withhh the popular people at my school i guess? i dunno i didnt really thinkg of them as popular i jsut thought of them as my friends and people that are cooll...
but when i got into highschool everybody knew me and would always say hi to me...
butt i meannn i wasnt like head girll popular girll yeahh knoww??
i had my friends and i knew the bigg bitches that i didnt want to be friends with..
some popular girls can just be too into themselves....
i mean you dont really like know if oyur popular or not i mean you doo but for me i was like your sterotypical popular girll i had my freinds the people who liked me...

only in high school i was a jock played football and swam and was always the one who had parties,and than i became popular with the police,they always knew where my parties were
