If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. It's nothing to get all bent out of shape about. Some people bend over backwards to do things, while others try a whack of ideas, and others finger through various possibilities. Not doing what you feel really sucks. But the old grind can be given the shaft. Just don't slide into that depression or you'll be headed for a dark hole. And things could get hairy if you come into a dark path, but fess up and the result will come. Just don't go nuts trying to squeeze too much out of it. Hope this ASSists.

Masturbation has nothing to do with being gay or straight, and there's no need to "kick the habit". It's a perfectly normal, healthy and positive thing to do. Just relax and don't be ashamed of being normal!

I don't know why you would think that masturbation is bad- it's very good and healthy, not to mention lots of fun and pleasurable.

But if you want to stop doing it, here's the trick:

Don't do it.

That's all there is to it. When you're laying in bed and feel your hand start to make its way down, don't let it finish- stop it in its tracks. Think about something else, put your hands under your head, twiddle your thumbs, go and do something else- just don't do it. That's the only way to stop, you know? Just to try to not do it.

Good luck on kicking the habbit, and if you don't, well, welcome back to the fold!

My question to you is WHY?? Why would you want to stop.....do you feel shame in masturbating? If that's the case.....read on:

Masturbation is a very common behavior, even among people who have sexual relations with a partner. In one national study, 95% of males and 89% of females reported that they have masturbated. Masturbation is the first sexual act experienced by most males and females. In young children, masturbation is a normal part of the growing child's exploration of his or her body. Most people continue to masturbate in adulthood, and many do so throughout their lives.

Your concerns about masturbating are nothing to fret over. it won't interfere with your health. as so stopping the practice-----WHY?
masturbation and partner sex is the greatest gift life has to offer.
you have the power and the ability to do both. don't deny yourself any opportunity to masturbate yourself. you are exploring your own body (all boys and men DO), providing yourself with unbridled pleasure, and not hurting anyone.
masturbation is a good choice. forget about stopping. you've reach the age where sex has begun to be a daily way of life. that's part of being a female.
have lots of fun episodes!

Masturbating is a form of release that is used by most people even if they have a partner-so don't fret about it.
Guys will admit to it while gals won't (generally).
So be kind to yourself and once you have a partner you can better explain what turns you on. nuff said.

the "problem" has nothing to do with pleasuring yourself. There are people, at times, who crave enless sexual release. It's sort of like being an alcoholic, to kill the pain of something else. It's a fine thing to do, if you keep it under control and just do it for joy.

Find a hobby. Trust me. I used to do it about 4 times a day until i got a job and started college. Then it dropped down to about twice a month.

Masturbating is a normal sexual function in humans of both sexes. Why would you want to repress a normal urge.
