How about the the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La. While there you can stay at one of the Casino's Hotels, and enjoy the Casinos. while there you can drive over to Jefferson, Tx. and tour the City. Lots of historic homes to see. After that drive down to Natchitoches La. and tour there. Natichitoches is where Steel Magnolias was made. And no I do not live or work there.
