A sample of gas is collected by water displacement at 600.0 mm Hg and 30 C. What is the partial pressure of the gas?

Steps on how to do it will be really helpful...i am not so sure how to use the partial pressure formula.

The first answer is correct the sum of the partial pressures equals the total pressure.

You should also know that the vapor pressure is = to the partial pressure for a liquid in equalibrium with its gas phase in the case of your example water.

There are many charts that indicate the vapor pressure of water at various temperatures. Subtract the vapor pressure of water at 30 deg C from the total pressure and you will have the partial pressure of the gas.

Pressure is all of the pressures added together. In this case, there is partial pressure of water and partial pressure of gas. Therefore, you must find the partial pressure of water at 30 c and subtract it fromt he total pressure.

Formula:
say partial pressure = p

p1 + p2 + p3 + ... = pTotal

i wish you'll agree that the criminal must be punished besides. yet when the crime is very large or too many such that the same janma or perhaps one janma isn't adequate then God has no option yet supply many births and make that jeeva struggle through hence. Ex: assume one man or woman commits different murders or commits adultery with many or an uncomplicated abuser. For such someone one delivery isn't sufficent to undergo the previous deeds. all persons are born to journey purva janma karma. yet contained in the approach we commit many papa which require different style of janmas to exhaust. because each janma is restricted with the aid of age and potential to journey the sufferings. So the papa karma has to roll over to next janma etc. Coming to remembrance section Forgetting the purva janma is completely a blessing given with the aid of God. Remmebering even the present janma relationships and incidents is one of those complicated one for our ideas. So that is sweet to leave the former junk and commence afresh. If purely we had the information of the previous janma then it's going to be utter chaos. that is for our sake Bhagawan simplified with the aid of creating us ignore each of the previous. be at liberty that we do not rememeber our ugly previous and get depressed. end God is not purely independent yet to boot merciful in giving us this existence that is more desirable than what we deserve.
