Trying to stick to the 9th Commandment as much as possible. But there are checks and balances. If it is a lie for pure selfishness, greed, adultry, etc., you have to answer to Him. It is a sin to lie but God knows what is in our hearts. He knows if we are telling a little lie to stop someone from being hurt than to lie just to be deceitful. Rest assured, He knows.

Be more specific. Give examples of people breaking the 9th commandment.

The Truth will set you free.
So people who don't acknowledge or confess the truth will always live in bondage. They probably won't know WHY they are in bondage, but they will never be truly free.

Remember, lies have a tendency to catch up with you.
Try to just show yourself in the best light possible, rather than lie...that's what I think politicians strive to do...although you do have your blatent lies from time to time.
