YES! You should do it!
After college, I worked as a newspaper editor for 10 years, then decided to go back to school and get a degree in another field while working as a police dispatcher overnights (which allows me to attend school). I love my new job, can't wait to finish my teaching degree, and feel very confident that I'm doing the right thing. Do what you feel is right for your future. I'm 36, and I think it's the best thing I've ever done.

Before you up and decide to be a lawyer, it might be a good idea to work in the field for a while. I know a few people who have worked around lawyers and have really seen how the job is a lot of hard work and it isn't as glamorous as some might think. My roommate recently changed her mind about wanting to be a lawyer for that reason. If you are serious about it- go for it. You don't want to get $100 k in debt for a bored feeling you experienced.

im doing it right now. I earned two BA's (English and Sociology), and then worked for 3 years in restaurant management (due to a lucrative multi-unit offer). I left 6 months ago to get a master's in National Security, completely changing my field. It can be scary to be switching careers at this point (I'm 27), but I realized it was either switch now, or continue working in an industry I hated for another 35-40 years. If you have the ability and a true desire to switch, go for it.

I would if I were your age. I'm now 30 something and if I had to do it all over again I would have gotten my law degree (to practice corp. law). I still toy with the idea, but as a mother, 15+ years into my career...it's much harder to make the change. Have you taken the LSAT? Maybe that would be a good 1st step. Best Wishes!

Lots of us do it all the time. I decided to change at about 35 and got a masters in computer Information systems and started a little company and sold that and retired at 42. Make that change if it feels right for you it probably is right.

It's not really starting over. I'm sure you've learned some things. It's more like changing your life's direction. Nothing wrong with that.

do what makes you happy. I often wonder what life would be like had I gone to school for something I enjoy rather than something that pays well that I'm good at.

At age 25, you can. At age 35 you will have family, mortgage, college savings...at age 55 you will not have optimism. DO IT NOW!!!

if its what you honestly want to do then you must do it. of course, i reccomend you meditate on the idea for a month or so, but if youreally do feel that your life wouldn't quite feel right until you accomplish this goal, you need to do it.
dont think of it as 'on the bench', think of it as 'on the road again'.
