It is quite important to know which network you are getting this for. Basically the keys do require getting used to. I am kind of used to typing based on the feel and I cannot do that easily.

Other than that the s/w on the phone depends on the network you are on. I got one for my wife on Verizon, tried replacing her v710. She returned it. She didnt like the address book functionality. The sound profiles were insufficient for her use. No easy way to change some screen options. All in all she thought she'd wait for the "perfect handset" and not waste the subsidy:)

I own the pink razr.
The first one I got was great, and then after a few months the camera stopped working and would shut the phone off, so we got it replaced through Cingular.
The one I have now is doing great.
The razr is a little slow when you're doing the media mall, but its not bad at all.
I personally like that its so thin. It can sit in your pocket and not be completely noticable.
It also has an MP3 player that you can use with iTunes.

Most of the people that say negative things about the razr have never owned one. :)

Good luck, whichever phone you pick!
