I need a decent graphics card thats around or under $120. I want a AGP because i have a PCI card (radeon 9250) right now and i absolutely hate it... I need a graphics card that can handle big games f.e battle field, call of duty, photoshop etc. Id also like a high resolution g.c if possible. If any one could also explain the difference between AGP, PCI, and PCI-express that would be great...thanks!

Well lets start with the Differences betwen the slots. PCI is old now. it works well for modems and sound cards but doesn't have the bandwidth video cards now a days demand. AGP is Accelerated Graphics Ports comes in several flavors 1x 2x 4x and 8x each one being faster than the last. PCIe or PCI express is a high bandwidth PCI bus with can read and write at the same time so its full duplex effectivly doubling its speed. so PCI slow, AGP slow to Medium and PCIe fast! Now that card i recommend for 120 or less is the ATI Radeon X1600 Pro I got one for a buddy upgrading from a geforce FX5200 and it works good. Its not super fast like the X1800 or X1900 but it'll definantly do.

ATI.AMD.COM has a ALL-IN-WONDER 9700 Pro for about $60 in their stock.
It runs Oblviion: The Elder Scrolls IV without any trouble on an old HP Pavilion 724c.
The resolution is 1280 x 1024 with 32 bit color at 60Hz refresh rate.
Works with big screen RGB Component output jacks so you can play your games or watch it on your television on it using Catalyst software.
Has a jack so you can connect your TV antenna for local, or Cable wire from the Box to it and Record your shows. It can work with 480i; 480p, 720i, 720p, or 1080i, not 1080p though.
16:9 wide screen viewing settings.

Go to www.pcclub.com and look at their options. I like the Geforce FX5500. Well priced and works great I belive you can get one at 256mb agp 8X for around $100. AGP and PCI-E are just the newer and faster versions of PCI. Like the way DDR is of EDO or sdram memory. I believe PCI-E is suppose to be faster than AGP but also think it is more expensive and your computer must have slot for it.
