The worlds food resources are being streached beyond the limit. Gene splicing and joining has yielded considerable means of food. France wants no part in it. They call the foods, "Frankinfoods." They are outlawed in France. What will be the effects of our insect pests of various food crops? Will they survive off just bio-engeered food?

It is for Biology. I have to do a Powerpoint persentation of at least 30 slides of hat will be the effects of our insect pests of various food crops. Please help!

Due to global warming, mosquios are multiplying due to the warmer, wetter conditions, which spreads disease. There has already been talk about genetically wiping them out. They would breed a bunch of males (who don't suck blood) insert a gene that makes the offspring be born without heads, and release millions of them. Over time, it would wipe out moquitos.

I think if they do that, they would have no problem doing it for any other "pest" insect. As much as I hate mosquitos, it sounds like something could go really wrong with that plan.

The year is 2050, global warming has returned Earth to the same conditions of the Carboniferous Period. Insects are enormous and kill people. Star Troopers, anyone?
