I'm a female and after I shave my pubic hair my skin is brownish where is shaved. Not just right after I shave it stays there, but its not irritted skin or anything. My friend told thats just what happens when you shave your pubic hair but I don't know if thats true or not.

The groin area in general is a little bit darker than the rest of the body skin. I think you are OK. Keep shaving! Some people just don't do that at all. I find that really turning off and disgusting. But this is just my personal opinion. If somebody is offended my apologies.

Been shaving for years, never had that happen, I agree with the person who said it could be the hairs that are just under the surface of the skin.

No, that's never happened to me. My best guess is that it's just a birth mark, which is normal. You've probably just never noticed because hair has always been over it. If you don't think it's a birthmark, I'd still go get it checked out by your doc. Hope that helps hun!
