Well, if you are washing the reds and white together - separate them!
However, if you have a shirt that has red and white on it - soak the shirt in a tub of cold water with 4-6 cups of rock salt in it for about 24 -48 hours.
After you have soaked the item, rinse out the salt water with cold water.
Continue to wash the item in cold water, but it shouldn't bleed the colors anymore!

Don't wash reds or any colors with whites.. If it's a shirt with multiple colors use cold water..

I hope you are not washing colors with whites. If it's a clothing that has both colors, use cold water only.
