I can't think of any positives but can a few negatives. One, it ruined old-fashioned R&R music; Two, it all sounds the same; And three, it ruined real dancing.

well, when rap first started, it was positive. it told you how you should deal with your problems and it was music that i could relate to. but the rap music today talks about drugs, sex, and money. now tell me how that can possibly give a positive message. it teaches guys to be pimps, and girls how to be whores. then the whole clothing thing. i mean, i would never let my daughter walk outside in revealing clothing or let my son walk with his pants hangin' off his butt. now, that's just my opinion. then again, i'm black. so it's kinda hard not to dance to a rap song wit a nice beat. lol

Well of course not all artist do it but the fact is that majority of them are black and the majority do use racial slurs such as ***.ger, honkey, whitey and such and seem to not mind it, until a non black drops the N word. If truly this word is offensive, then no one would use it, not even artists to make a buck.

It gives me a headache and gets on my nerves. I don't like the lyrics or the melody. I just don't like it. My children listen to it & it gets on my nerves so bad, I can hardly tolerate it. I won't listen to it. It sucks.
