Go to start-my computer then right click your dvd drive and click on properties then autoplay and select the prompt

On the Windows desk top, click on My Computer.

Right click on the CD disk drive you want to have prompt you.

When the window comes up, click on Properties.

Select the Autoplay tab at the top of the window.

Just below the white window "pane" look for the selection button that says "Prompt Me Each Time To Take An Action" and click to put a bullet in the circle.

Click Apply, and click OK

I believe this will do it.

Hope this helps.
