I'm sitting here reading questions posted by some people and I almost want to cry...one yahoo user's name is actually mexican hater---i look at his questions and I'm shocked at what he asks. If the devil himself created Mexicans...questions about the KKK, etc. And then others who laugh along him. I'm not singling him out, there are so many hurtful questions here and I'm sad that people can be so cruel to one another. I recommend everyone watch the movie CRASH...it's so moving and maybe it can affect you as well. I just don't know how people can HATE how their hearts can be so cold....without remorse. But all I can do is pray... for all of us!!

I think a lot of people on here (especially the younger ones) think it's funny or cool to be hateful towards certain groups. One of the reasons they do it here is because they would never have the guts to say any of these things towards Jews, Mexicans, blacks, or any other groups in person or to someone's face, but figure this is an anonymous forum and they can go unpunished.
The best thing to do is avoid these people. If you answer them or take the bait, you'll only be fueling their stupidity.

Some people get a kick out of riling people up. They get a tingly feeling all over when they say something evil and hurtful, and they know they can do so without any consequences.
I let my opinion be known, (something like, "your an a$s" or "f*ck you too"), and i move on.
If these people are serious, and harbor that much hate inside them that they feel the need to express it to strangers over the 'net, there's not much else i can really say to help/change them.
Bottom line: Don't let it get to you. =)

I just asked a similar question. The way I reason is if I like something for example, cooking I choose it as a topic. Why do people choose religion and spirituality and then just come here to say hateful, disrespectful things about others and about God? There ought to be a rule. If I choose the cooking section and come there to make fun of and insult others recipes there ought to be a penalty, for example 5 insults and you are out for 3 months. That's my suggestion.

Some people are just looking for attention or where brought up to be ignorant. Others might have had bad experiences and thats why they judge a whole race based on one person or a small group of people. Don't be offended its a waste of your time!

All that cruelty results from a total ignorance. These people don't even know what they are talking about. They just speak based upon such shallow and narrow facts, that you can't help but pitty them. I wonder where their intelligence is and will to educate themselves is?

"Meanness" in human beings is caused by a "genetic and physical" defect in the DNA of all human beings!
Human beings are afraid of and disconnected from the source of all life. Life is a sacred part of the entire Universe! Human Beings loose the knowledge of this truth when they incarnate on the physical plane of existence.
The quest for everyone in the material realm of anywhere in the Universe is to rediscover their connection to the source of all life!

you are absolutely right, and there is no excuse for some of these people.
you have to admit, some people set themselves up for abuse by asking really dumb questions, or by making foolish hateful remarks.
I think usually if you ask a serious question you will get mostly decent pep[ole answering you, but there are always a few joksters!

I LOVED Crash. It's the best movie I've seen in years. A veery thought provoking and touching movie about the ugliness of racism, but also about the true goodness inside of us all.
