Yes they do..
The biggest reason is winning the SEC. The SEC is a tough conference. Numerous ranked teams all year. MICH had their bite at the apple and couldn't do it.
That said, Ohio is a great team and should win. I hope its a close game.
My fav. bowl game will be Boise St. vs. Ok..The WAC is great football to watch.

i personally think that you should have to win your conference to be in the title game. Let's not forget, had the officials not blown the Leak call in the Auburn game, Florida would be undefeated and then there would be no discussion. To only lose 1x in the SEC is amazing and losing due to a bad call, makes them look even better. Michigan had the chance to beat OSU and didnt, so their chance is over. Florida should have been put there even if USC had won because USC had no business being ranked that high. They lost to a pathetic team. Florida will give OSU a run for their money and I think they can and will win. And by the way, this is coming from an FSU fan for life.

They deserved it as much as Michigan did.
Impressive year, even with the loss to #10 Auburn.
But keep in mind - Florida earned #2 by 1/100th of a point.
But the real reason?
Voters did not want a rematch !!!
First - I am not a Michigan fan.
But I have to wonder why the voters keep Michigan above Florida after their loss to OSU.
They still keep Michigan ahead after Gators squeak by FSU.
Then suddenly - they leap ahead the final week after win against Razorbacks.
Vegas odds-makers place Gators a 6 pt. underdog if they were to play Michigan.
However, these are the same guys that picked USC to beat UCLA by 14.
But I think its great to have controversy. Otherwise, how boring this could be.

Here's why Florida made it (even though they don't deserve it):
1. Florida had the hardest schedule.
2. Florida had more wins.
3. Michigan had their chance.
4. People don't want to see a rematch.
5. Michigan didn't win their conference.
Only one of those reasons make sense (that Florida had the hardest schedule). Is it Michigan's fault that there's no conference championship for them? No! And OSU beat Michigan by a mere 3 points. And that was at Ohio State! Michigan vs. Ohio State would be a much better game than Michigan vs. Florida.

If Flordia looses by 21 points they should be thankful that they were able to compete. This is the perfect situation that football needs to be settled on the playing field and not by some group of money hungry college presidents that think, that a team of 18 to 22 year olds, do not have the ability to take care of business on the field of play. Why not have the top 3 teams in all divisions of all college sports play for their respected title games? It keeps the pressure of playing to a minimum so they can get the degrees they so much deserve.

Yes, because the BCS is about finding who is the real champion. If OSU plays Mich we we wont know who the real champion is (if Mich wins they are 1-1, if OSU wins what about florida?)
Also, Florida had a tougher scedule than Mich.....They play in the SEC.

no team other than OSU deserves to get into the BCS champ. game, but someone had to do it and they figured florida's schedule was better. But no one deserved it other than OSU.
