Many times it is simply how you present the experience you have already. There are so many things that are valid job experiences that you get from working at a fast food restaurant.

1. Cash handling
2. Customer service
3. Learned to work with people different than myself
4. Team participation or leadership
5. Meeting published expectations

When I hire someone, their specific experiences do not often fit the exact needs of the position. But if they have been successful elsewhere I figure I can train them to fit my needs.

Don't get discouraged!

1. If you already have all the training that's required for the position you are trying to get into but just lack the experience, you should be able to find some entry level jobs at your school's career site.
2. Another good way to start is by volunteering at some local non-profit organizations while holding down to a paying job. Once you built some real work experience, then you can add it to your resume.

great schooling... everyone needs a first chance, you start with something small to get experience, and then work your way up. Some schools help you get a job once you graduate, or even while you are attending them.

most jobs will want you to have experience but when they can't get someone with that level of experience they may be willing to come down on it. like a job that request you have a year to two experience may be will to take someone with none.
