He'd be an **** to admit it while still in office. He knows he lost which is a big reason as to why the congressional incumbants were voted OUT! We told him he lost whether he likes it or not. And if the new guys 'f' it up, they're out too!

Because if he admits he's wrong, he won't get as big a presidential library as his daddy, he won't get a Navy ship named after him and his fee on the lecture circuit will be drastically reduced.
Seriously, because for the President to admit he's wrong will mean that the entire Republican party is wrong. Like it or not, he's their numero uno right now. He is the face of the Republican party. They all supported him (although over the last year or so, some Republicans have come to their senses), so if he's wrong, so are they, and while he can't be reelected, Republican senators and congresspeople still have a shot. Well, those who weren't already kicked to the curb last month. This is why some of them are trying to distance themselves from him now.
Also, I'm sure he doesn't want to go down in history as the President who lied about WMDs, plunged us into war and economic tumult, sent thousands to their deaths and then said, "Oops! My bad!" The problem is, no matter what he does or says now, he will never be considered one of our better presidents, and I think I'm being generous there.

Non-sense. While no war is perfect, and this one is no acception, if the cause is right, it does make a difference. In WWII, we lost on average over 6,600 military per month! That was a huge loss of life, but if the threat of Nazi Germany and Japan were not stopped, things would be quite different today. In this war, there have been several successes. There have been 3 free elections, girls are going to school, a mad-man who was responsible for the mass graves of 300,000 innocent men, women and children is being brought to justice. The peace that this will establish will impact generations.

Because they know they've been lying. It's not about a war on terror. It's really all about the winning of THIS secret "prize"!...

I don't think he is brave enough to do that. I heard a speech from Bobby Kennedy the other day on TV, which stirred hope and optimism in me. Polititions these days don't talk that way any more. They just back-pedal and try to keep their jobs.

bc to some(including bush), he hasn't failed.
No one is going to change their mind just bc you look at all of the bad and none of the good. you'll never try to understand, whether someone can verbalize a good point for you or not, so why do you and the people that ask the same exact question bother asking over and over knowing that you wont accept any of the answers we present in favor of bush?

They say he's dry drunk. --Which means a lifetime of substance abuse at varying brain-wasting threshholds has made our great leader capable of fuzzy logic, and no other.
