even when I try to access the pctools web page, the same thing happens. I am going nuts trying to figure this out. please someone help!!!

You've been hijacked by malware. They've taken over your computer, and are blocking you from accessing any website that has the tools to unistall their program. Pretty sneaky, eh?
The fix can be a bit tricky. Easiest to download the antispyware (lavasoft adaware, AVG antispyware/antivirus, whatever you choose) on another system, burn it to a CD, then install from the CD and clean your system.
Or, run MSCONFIG and disable all suspicious startup programs/non-microsoft services, then reboot and try to access the websites again.

if your browser re-directs you to scam websites, you can be sure that it was hijacked. in your case the hijacker is spywaresheriff. you can simply remove it by following this free instructions:

just find the malicious files related to spysheriff and delete them.

I recommend superantispyware. It will remove spywaresherriff. It is very effective and it is also free.
