Definitely. I see not all but most of the younger generations as totally naive without a clue. The government is way too large and all I can do is feel sorry for the future generations if they don't wake up and stop being apathetic. They don't even protest anything. Sometimes I think they are brain dead from all the video games. It's scary because that is how countries lose power and the people become enslaved.

I think people have the power to make their own decisions about what is right or wrong. The only thing that I feel may be considered "brainwashing" the relationship between a parent and child. The parent impressing them self on the child is not a permanent scar though, I am very different than my parents. By the time an individual is old enough to vote and make other life decisions they already have all the tools they need to make an informed decision.

All generations go through brainwashing and most of the brainwashing is being done by the generation who have the power. At this point of time in history, the brainwashers are the Baby Boomers.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Just think, when Bush first got
elected, some of these young people were 12 or 13 yrs. old,
& have never experienced a great presidency.
I agree, they must think all this control is normal, but it isn't.
It suppresses ideas & gives other countries the opportunity
to get lightyears ahead of us with technology, medicine &
science.
Right now. the U.S. is leading, in weight & crime. It's a sin &
there was a time when we were leading in just about everything,
to be proud of.

Young people, old people, black, white, red, yellow people. Disinformation is being thrown at all of us. Young people are more likely to question a source, and look at opposing viewpoints. Older individuals have usually made up their minds, and will not change them even when confronted with the facts.

I agree - the republicans deal in scare tactics to get the vote out. Even more scary are all of the advertising everywhere, that tell our young people all of the wrong values, that they are successes if they have things, that that's what they should aim for.

I think everyone is getting brainwashed, but probably the young people are more skeptical, so they are less vulnerable to it.

Yes, I believe that far too many young people are stuck with ultra-liberal teachers/professors who teach them some of the most ridiculous theories that exist! The 911 conspiracy comes to mind.
