You dont really want to put an H23Vtec. It is very unstable, unless you really really know what you're doing. Alot of people have tried, and havent even gottent the thing to run. A JDM H22a or an a4 is the best and only motor you should drop into your accord. Check this site out, they did it to an accord wagon of the same generation.

Instead of putting just a H22 in your Accord. Take a H23 block and put a H22 cylinder head on it.

It will fit just the same as the H22, but you will gain a little more displacement...and there is no replacement for displacement.

But any H22 or H23 will fit into your Accord.

You do realize that both the h22a1 and h22a4 will fit equally, seeing as they're the same size, right?
