A soulmate I believe is a word we use for someone for a reason. The reason is this person is someone who we feel is that one person that no one else can touch. You feel a connection with this person in a very very special way. The thing is I'll be honest with you no I don't believe we ever get over that one special unique person. The "Soulmate" Because they were your soulmate. And it's rare that you have more then one soulmate possible but rare!! But obviously you still were not meant to be together or you'd be with him today. You need to concentrate on the man your with today. You may not love him the same but you can love him as much in a different way. But don't feel guilty for holding on to the memories of your soulmate. As long as you don't let your husband know this. Just hold onto them but don't let them hold onto you to tightly that it takes your life that you have today away!!! Don't ever turn back live for today and tomorrow!!!! God Bless You and your husband now. And sweet memories to hold in your heart forever a special place in your heart!!!! So no you don't necessarily get over them, but you move on and love for today. Sorry not sure if this is a man or a woman so excuse using husband and him if you're a guy!!!

I don't think you will. I am not expecting to get over mine. I am just trying to accept we cannot be together now and am hoping that maybe something will happen someday. When I was with mine I was young, and had no idea what real love was. Now I'm older and I finally understand how rare it is.

if you still consider that person your soulmate you'll never get over it.. you will never get over your first true love and that's how its always been. You're partner should understand because we're only humans we cant just delete people out of our lives when you've made so much memories before hand.

You may always have a soft spot, but eventually you should be able to look back fondly and realize that he was not the one or he'd be with you now.
