It's a Dell XPS Gen 2 laptop. I just had the motherboard replaced and I have a new AC Adapter so I've ruled out those aspects. When I press the Power On Button, the LED Power Light comes on, I hear a feint high pitched sound, and then powers off after about 3 seconds. The Screen doesn't turn on at all during this time. It does this off of the battery power, and when the AC Adapter is plugged into the computer as well. Any thoughts of what it could be?

Either the processor fan or the hard drive; likelihood in that order.

Every computer I have ever had did that, it doesn't seem to effect it in any way. Congrats on being to hear it most people can't. it's at such a high frequency.
