I dont know about you - but I cant stand Conon O'Brian. I think the legendary late night show "Tonight" will be gone for ever when this guy comes in to take over in 2008 when Jay Leno retires. NBC is making a big mistake, they should have double the money to Bill Maher or a joker like Bill O'Riley. - even Keith Oberman will be also a good choice - but not Conon O'Brian. There are couple of other funny guys - I forgot their names....

Yes! I don't think Conan is funny at all. He's more annoying. I really wish they would consider finding someone else to replace Jay. I like Jay and the "Tonight Show" and wish he would consider staying on longer. I'll quit watching if O'Brien takes over.

While I am not a fan of Conon O'Brian, I think that the show will go on. Conan has been in the comedy game since his days at Harvard, where he wrote for the Harvard Lampoon. He has written a lot of comedy behind the scenes over the years. Stuff you probably laughed at because you did not know it was him. I watched him mature on his current show from wooden to being very poised in the position. The big problem is those shows have no content. In the old days, of Carson and before, they were social mirrors that spanned the gamut of Intellectual pursuits in America. Now, however, they are show cases for talentless stars and "leggy supermodels," as David Letterman puts it. Jay Leno has said bluntly that most of his guests "don't have a lot to say." Imagine being an actor and having all that money to pursue any kind of interest that you want and you are too much of a dullard to fill a five minute TV spot. But that is pop culture for you. Rock on!

Jay Leno isn't the perfect host. i in my opinion loved it even as Conan replaced into there yet Letterman isn't some thing yet a jerk who doesn't deserve that previous due nighttime tutor. he's not some thing yet a cranky previous guy. perfect desires, Brian

Conan will being funnier than he is now once The Tonight Show's writers hook him up with better material like Jay is accustomed to. I remember when Jay first took over for Johnny and had a hard time at first.

Conan is perfect for the Tonight show, he is different from Leno and has his own brand of comedy which will definately freshen up the show. Theres only one guy on TV who is funnier than Conan and his name is John Stewart but he has his own show which is successful so I say, good decision NBC.

I'm with ya, Conan is the most unfunny host on TV. I think the Tonight Show will go right down the toilet when he takes over. Honestly...my Jack Russell if funnier than Conan.

i think it's sad that jay leno will be leaving. i love his show! anyway, i do not think conan should take over his show. he should keep his show, and nbc should either find another comic for the show, or just find a whole new show to replace it.

CONAN IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!! omg i cant stand jay leno! i can't wait til conan takes over!!!! i think its a great move on NBC's part! i would actually watch it then! i dont watch jay leno cause all his jokes are about sex and sh*t like that...and its really not funny. but conan's jokes are just hilarious!!! totally can't wait til 2008 ;)
