Because you are shaving a very sensitive area. Use some powder after shaving. Also, when the hair starts growing out, it pokes in your underwear and that makes it itch too. Ask the men who have to shave their face all the time. They use aftershave to protect them from itching.
Why not try just shaving on the sides. You could go get electrolysis, but oh, gosh, does that hurt.

Yes it's normal, I always itch the first couple days after shaving. And it doesn't matter how much you shave. Just try not to itch it, if you do it'll just make it worse and irritate your skin. When I go to bed I put on Aquaphor and it feels a lot better.

It normal for it to be itchy cuz ur hair grows back so it get itchy. But u could be shaving to hard so be careful...u dont want razor burn. Ok about shaving....it doesnt really matter how u shave it cuz men dont really care about how shave it. Just shave it the way u want.

Yeah, it's normal for it to be itchy sometimes...especially if you're first starting to shave...I think there's a product you can buy to help with the itch/razor burn but I can't remember what it's called...
I shave my pubic area bare...it's not worth leaving a bit to me, and vastly increases the sensation/pleasure during sex with no hair in the way...

ok well i usaully get itchy from shaving when the hairs start getting stubbly especially if i get sweaty. and it dont matter if you shave the sides or all of it thats up to you. and i think its best to shave when you start getting prickly usually every other day. the shorter the hairs are when you shave usually causes less irritation. well i hope i have helped.

You can shave when you think its needed, but waxing is more, "healthier" and helps better then shaving. The only think that happens is that the hair grows curly when coming back.

Shaving will make you itch big time. Try NAIR for the bikini area.

Use the product "Tend Skin". It is a product used in spa treatments to keep the skin and hair supple so that it doesn't irritate the skin when you shave. It is expensive but works GREAT!
