Im trying to make a mix cd of slower country songs, Im not too familiar with too many artists and songs though, Im kinda new to liking country, any reccomendations? (I like Randy Travis, George Strait, and Kenny Chesney kind of stuff)

If you like those guys, check out Brad Paisley, Rascall Flats, Josh Turner, and Jason Aldean. Other than Randy Travis and George Strait, all of these guys have the same style. Randy and George are just more of the "old school" twang. (Which I don't have any complaints about...HUGE George Strait fan here.)

Alot, if not all country artists have atleast 3 to 4 slow songs on thier cd's. So you can look up alot of different artists. But It depends on what kind of songs you like

Try ones by Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood. Even try american idol's kellie pickler. she has some good ones. you cant go wrong with rascal flats or kenny chesney!!
