What is the Pythagorean Theorem (a2+b2=c2)
is used for? In real life? (Don't tell me that it is used for math class).

In real life it is used extensively by surveyors, architects, on construction site, road building etc.

Real life example:
You need to fit a picture frame diagonally in a box.
So if the sides of the box are 3 x 4 ft, then a 5 ft frame
can fit exactly across the diagonal, but 6 ft will be too long.

I believe it's used in geometry to find angular degrees, but I'm not sure.
