Yes, you do need a visa to travel to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. I was there!

Hey , Buddy for sure u need a visa for any country u wish to travel , for United Arab Emirates being US citizen u get a visa on arrival , from any airport u enter , u have to go the arrival immigration section fill a form and get a visa stamp on your passport.
